Wie die Plattenfirma mitteilte, haben technische Probleme des Veranstaltungsortes zu der Absage geführt. Die Band sei wohlauf. Ausweichtermine stehen noch nicht fest, selbstverständlich erhalten die Fans die bereits ein Ticket habe einen Ersatz oder das Geld zurück.

AC/DC Tourdaten Deutschland 2009.

Nachdem technische Sperrungen aufgehoben wurden, gibt es jetzt wenige weitere Tickets für die Shows von AC/DC in Leipzig, München, Gelsenkirchen, Köln und Hockenheim. Was auch immer die Aufhebung  von technischen Sperrungen bedeutet.

Nominiert waren in dieser Kategorie außerdem noch R.E.M., Slipknot, 3 Doors Down & Metallica.

AC/DC befinden sich gerade auf der Black Ice Welttournee und machen auch Station in Deutschland.

Sie waren für zwei Kategorien nominiert:

In der Kategorie “International Album” konkurrierten AC/DC mit Ihrem Album Black Ice mit Fleet Foxes (Fleet Foxes), Killers (Day & Age), Kings of Leon (Only By The Night) und MGMT (Oracular Spectacular). Gewonnen haben Kings of Leon mit “Only By The Night”.

Bei der zweiten Nominierung “International Group” gingen neben AC/DC noch Fleet Foxes, Killers, Kings of Leon und MGMT in das Rennen um den begehrten Preis. Gewonnen hat schließlich King of Leon.

Die Verleihung fand am 18. Februar 2009 in London statt.

In der Gleichen Kategorie war auch Coldplay mit Violett Hill nominiert. Gewonnen haben den Preis schließlich Kings ob Leon mit Sex on Fire.

Fakt ist, dass AC/DC jedes Stadion in Europa füllen können und jedes weitere Konzert in Deutschland sicher in Minuten ausverkauft wäre.

Fakt ist auch, dass AC/DC zwischen dem 24. Mai und dem 9. Juni noch Platz für weitere Termine hätte. Obwohl sich sicher Jeder vorstellen kann, dass die Altrocker bei einer 18 Monate langen Welttour auch mal eine Pause brauchen.

Ein weiterer Fakt, nähmlich dass es eng mit Stadionbuchungen wird, spielt bei AC/DC keine so große Rolle. Sie benötigen kein bestimmtes Stadion und auch keinen Wochenendtermin. Selbst wenn sie 3x hintereinander im gleichen Stadion rocken würde, wäre dies ausverkauft.

So schließen wir uns der Hoffnung von Eventim an und hoffen ebenfalls auf weitere Termine. Vorzugsweise in Deutschland.

Update: Das Album wurde 2008 über 720.000 verkauft. Damit ist es das meistverkaufte Album 2008 und hat drei mal Platin erreicht (je 200.000 Einheiten eine Plantinplatte).
