PETA lobt Allens Anti-Pelz-Haltung

Eigentlich waren Lily Allens Worte typisch direkt: “Mein Mantel ist kein echter Pelz, aber er war verdammt teuer. Bedeckt mich mit Farbe und ich werde euch die Rechnung schicken.”

Diesen Worte gingen als Drohung in Richtung PETA. Die Tierschutzorganisation ist dafür bekannt, dass sie Stars angreift, die sich mit echtem Pelz schmücken. Außerdem schmückt sich PETA gerne mit dem Namen der Stars, die das nicht tun. Und da Lily in der Drohung ja offenbart hat, dass sie keinen echten Pelz trage, finden die Bosse der Tierschutzorganisation jetzt richtig gut.

PETA Sprecher Michael McGraw: “Wir waren überrascht, Lily Allen etwas tragen zu sehen, was ein Pelzmantel zu sein schien, weil wir wissen, dass sie eine große Tierfreundin ist. Daher waren wir begeistert, als sie durch Ihre Aussage bestätigte, dass es wirklich Kunstpelz war. Vielleicht tritt sie in die Fußstapfen von Victoria Beckham – einer Unterstützerin von PETAs Anti-Pelz-Kampagne – die üblicherweise Designer ihre Pelze in hochwertige künstliche für sie umarbeiten lässt.”
